Add to your phone as an app

Pembleton works as a full app on your phone and tablet — no App Store needed. It installs in seconds and sits on your home screen just like any other app.

🍎 iPhone & iPad

  1. Open Safari (must be Safari, not Chrome)
  2. Go to pace.buntcaboon.co.uk
  3. Tap the Share button — the box with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen
  4. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”
  5. Give it a name (Pembleton works nicely) and tap Add
  6. Find the new icon on your home screen and open it — it'll feel like a real app
Tip for iPad: The share button is at the top right of Safari on iPad, not the bottom.

🤖 Android

  1. Open Chrome on your Android phone
  2. Go to pace.buntcaboon.co.uk
  3. Tap the three dots menu in the top right corner
  4. Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”
  5. Confirm by tapping Add or Install
  6. Find the Pembleton icon on your home screen
Note: Some Android devices may show a banner at the bottom of Chrome automatically suggesting you install — you can tap that too.
Once installed: Pembleton opens without any browser chrome (no address bar, no tabs) and feels like a native app. Your tasks and sliders are saved on the server, so they sync across all your devices automatically. The morning check-in will greet you fresh each day.
What is Pembleton?
🎯

Smart task matching

Tasks are matched to your actual energy right now — not what you wish you had. Low energy day? Only the right tasks appear.

🛡️

Prevents overcommitting

Draining tasks are hidden until you genuinely have the capacity. Pembleton keeps you from saying yes when you shouldn’t.

💚

Recovery tracking

Log healing activities — a nap, meditation, coffee — and watch your energy levels restore in real time.

🌅

Morning check-in

Each morning, Pembleton asks how you slept and how you feel. The AI reads your answers and sets your energy levels automatically.

The PEM System
P

Physical

Your body’s capacity for physical effort right now.

e.g. Shower, walk, cooking, cleaning

E

Enthusiasm

Your mood, motivation and social energy.

e.g. Social calls, creative work, music

M

Mental

Your cognitive capacity for thinking and decisions.

e.g. Bills, admin, emails, planning

Each task is tagged with its strain type — P, E, M, or All. Pembleton only shows you a task when that specific dimension has enough capacity. High P but low M? Your bills stay hidden, but your walk is right there.

PEM also stands for Post-Exertional Malaise — the hallmark symptom of ME/CFS where activity causes a delayed crash. Pembleton was built with this in mind.

Energy cost levels
MicroBarely anything — doable from bed. Negligible drain.
LowManageable on a tough day. Drops the relevant slider by 1.
MediumNeeds decent capacity. Drops the relevant slider by 2.
HighOnly on good days. Drops the relevant slider by 3.
DrainingSignificant cost. Drops the relevant slider by 4. Available at 9–10 only.

A task can also be marked Essential — meaning it must happen regardless of energy. It always shows, but its cost still applies when completed. Your flight home from Cape Verde: Essential ✓, Draining, All.
